Joy Bokiri, a midfielder for the Super Falcons, has finalized her transfer to French women's soccer team Saint Etienne.

Bokiri is the ninth player to sign with the French second-tier team this summer.

The 23-year-new old's team has given her the number 8 jersey.

She told the club's official website, "I am really delighted to join AS Saint-Étienne and equally excited to experience the French league.

So that I may say Saint-Étienne is my new home, I want to settle there as soon as possible.

In the past, Bokiri competed for Nigeria at the U-17 and U-20 levels.

She has represented teams in Sweden, Turkey, and Spain.
