Arsenal 'preparing £190k-a-week offer for Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus'
Arsenal are reportedly planning to raid Premier League rivals Manchester City in a bid to sign Gabriel Jesus this summer.
The Gunners will be in the market to bring in a striker before the start of the new campaign after they did not replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following his January exit.
The situation has now been made even more pressing for Mikel Arteta as Alexandre Lacazette is leaving the London club this month when his contract expires.
Jesus could be the answer for Arsenal, as according to a report by The Sun, they are willing to double his wages in order to bring him to the Emirates Stadium during this summer transfer window.
The Brazilian forward only has 12 months left on his contract with Manchester City, and he is interested in the possibility of moving despite the fact Arsenal did not secure Champions League football for next season.
Pep Guardiola is not going to stand in the way of Jesus if he wants to leave the Premier League champions this summer, after he played 28 times and scored eight goals in the division last season.
Arsenal are not the only club interested in securing the signature of the 25-year-old though, with clubs in Spain and Italy also monitoring his situation after Erling Braut Haaland was confirmed to be joining Man City.
