Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen has been recalled to the Denmark squad ahead of the upcoming friendlies.
This will mark the first time that he has been selected for international duty since suffering his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 while representing his country.
Since that point, the 30-year-old was fitted with an implanted cardioverter-defibrillator(ICD), which led to the end of his career with Inter Milan due to Serie A rules.
The league will not permit someone with the device to play, which is why he made a return to the Premier League with Brentford, who he joined on a six-month deal until the end of this season.
The midfielder has made three appearances for the Bees so far, and is now back to full fitness again, which has earned him selection from his country.
Eriksen will join up with the rest of his teammates in Spain for training, and Denmark will face the Netherlands and Serbia during the international window.
