CAF TotalEnergies Determined Girls FC of Liberia and Wadi Degla FC of Egypt have secured spots in the Women's Champions League.
With impressive victories, Wadi Degla and Determine Girls FC have each qualified for the 2022 Finals of the TotalEnergies CAF Women's Champions League. Wadi Degla FC is from Egypt, and Determine Girls FC is from Liberia.
The WAFU A champions from Liberia won the qualifying zonal competition on Sunday in Monrovia, where they will make their CAF Women's Champions League debut. They created history by being the first Liberian women's team to advance to the final round of a continental championship. Determinate Girls defeat Senegal's US Parcelles Assainies (1-0).
24 hours earlier in the Northern Zone, Wadi Degla FC of Egypt, defeated Banque de l’Habitat from Tunisia 2-0 at the Grand Stade of Agadir, in Morocco, to secure a second consecutive appearance in the final tournament
Morocco will host TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League in October and November 2022.
In addition to Wadi Degla FC (UNAF) and Determine Girls FC (WAFU A), three other clubs have already qualified for the final tournament:
