There has been a comparison from football fans around the world on who is the best between David De Gea or Edouard Mendy.

Mendy is seen as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League this season because of his impressive performance. Mendy joined Chelsea last summer transfer market from Stade Rennes and he was chosen as Chelsea's number 1 goalkeeper ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Edouard Mendy has kept 5 clean sheets in EPL than any other goalkeeper in Premier League in some seasons.

This suggests that even if Mendy has a dip in performance as a result of playing in a better league or taking time to adjust, he would likely still perform better than Arrizabalaga.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has put his outstanding double save against Wolverhampton down to instinct.

The stopper twice denied Romain Saiss from close range at a crucial time, keeping the scores level at 0-0 and laying a platform for Mason Greenwood to score the winner.

Saiss first tried a header, aimed downwards from about six yards, which our no.1 managed to parry, before trying again with his feet from closer still. Having managed to get himself up off the floor in time, De Gea again dived at the ball to stop it from finding the net.

“To be honest it was super quick, I don’t have much time to think,” said the Spaniard modestly. “I made the first save and I saw the guy coming again so I just put my whole body there and I made the double save so it was a big moment in the game because after that we scored our goal.

Comparison between both keepers can never be underestimated

Edouard Mendy has been a cool-headed goalkeeper while David De Gea is the kind of player that doesn't lose focus.
