Former Chelsea and Ivory Coast forward Didier Drogba confirmed his retirement as a professional player after a heroic career for both club and country 3 years ago today .

Throughout his career, he scored 365 goals for both club and country in 791 appearances and he had a record of 19 different trophies which includes the UEFA Champions League and the premier which he won with Chelsea.
