Ansu Fati revealed he had offers from abroad to play as he penned a new six-year Barcelona contract.

The deal includes a €1billion buyout clause as he was given the No.10 shirt following Lionel Messi's departure.

The 19-year-old's new deal is a huge boost for the financially stricken club in the same week that fellow academy graduate Pedri also penned an extension.

“Yes, I've had offers from abroad,” he admitted. “But my dream was to be here.

“From the first day I told [agent] Jorge Mendes that my first option was always to stay at Barca. He understood it perfectly and I am very happy that the club has trusted me.”
