Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Monaco forward Wissam Ben Yedder as a potential summer signing.
The center-forward had a stellar year last year, scoring 32 goals in 52 games. As Monaco finished third behind Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille in Ligue 1, they scored 25 goals in total.
Despite being 31 years old, Ben Yedder is still having a significant impact in France. Last season, he also played in the Europa League, albeit he was only able to appear in seven games without scoring.
In April 2020, Ben Yedder was mentioned in connection with Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal. Additionally, the Red Devils are reportedly back in the running.
This summer, United is looking for the attacker, according to the French publication Media Foot.
It is obvious that Ben Yedder's stellar season with Monaco left a lasting effect on United management. Ben Yedder is one replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo up front as he asks to leave Old Trafford.
English teams other than United are also interested. According to media reports, Wolves are interested in the Frenchman's appearance and may make a deal.
Although none of the two Premier League clubs has added a player to its first squad as of yet, both are anticipated to do so before the current transfer window closes.
