How Rangers could line up against Eintracht Frankfurt
Rangers striker Kemar Roofe is pushing hard to be involved in Wednesday's Europa League final with Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville.
The 29-year-old is still struggling with a knee injury and will be given every possible chance to prove his fitness by manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, but Alfredo Morelos is definitely out.
Centre-back Filip Helander is also absent from the contest due to his foot problem, while Ianis Hagi is closing in on a comeback but is ineligible for the final alongside Cedric Itten.
Van Bronckhorst made changes aplenty for the weekend's encounter with Hearts, and a return to a full-strength XI will see 40-year-old Allan McGregor come back for Jon McLaughlin.
Calvin Bassey and Connor Goldson are primed to return to the backline - potentially with semi-final hero John Lundstram if Van Bronckhorst matches Frankfurt's 3-4-2-1.
Lundstram could instead feature further forward from the first whistle, as Borna Barisic and the Europa League's top scorer this season, James Tavernier, start out wide.
Glen Kamara and Ryan Jack ought to return in the engine room, with the latter expected to be fine to start despite picking up an injury scare against RB Leipzig.
A lack of an out-and-out striker should see Joe Aribo spearhead the charge with support from Ryan Kent and Scott Wright, as Fashion Sakala settles for a place on the bench.
Rangers possible starting lineup: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic; Kamara, Lundstram, Jack; Kent, Aribo, Wright
