Borussia Dortmund are clear that Erling Haaland is not leaving this summer. And United have taken note, according to 'The Sun', and are already working on signing him next summer. Chelsea, the club that has shown the most interest in recent months, would have little to do: the Red Devils are favorites to take the Norwegian in 2022.

It has been clear for months that Erling Haaland would be the star of the summer. Indeed, day by day, the big clubs in Europe have been trying incessantly to take him away from Borussia Dortmund.

To let him go, Borussia Dortmund is asking for 175 million euros. An offer that, for the moment, they have not received. "There is no offer of 175 million euros from Chelsea and we don't expect it either," Zorc, the German club's sporting director, said recently.

Chelsea are the team that seems to be most interested in Haaland lately. But in England, Man United is said to be in pole position to sign him. But it would be next summer.

According to 'The Sun', the recent renewal of Solskjaer would play in favor of the Red Devils. At the time, when he left for Borussia, he did not go to Man United due to the uncertainty that they could dispense with Solskjaer.

For Haaland, Solskjaer is important. He could be key to landing him at Old Trafford.

Now that United has secured the coach's continuity, the board hopes, says the newspaper, that Haaland will value it and opt for them if they decide to make an offer for him in 2022.
