Paul Onuachu, a forward from Nigeria, may go from KRC Genk to Club Brugge, a rival in the Belgian Pro League.
With the summer transfer window about to close, Onuachu's future is still in doubt.
Following his amazing goal scoring performances for the Smurfs over the past two seasons, Onuachu has been rumored to leave KRC Genk.
The Nigerian international was Belgium's leading scorer in the 2020–21 league with 33 goals in 38 games.
Last season, the 28-year-old scored 20 goals for Genk.
Onuachu has been chosen by Club Brugge as the striker who will strengthen their attack if Ras Hojlund of Strum Graz is not available.
The team is in negotiating with Strum Graz for Hojlund, a Danish international.
