Real Madrid is reportedly back in the race to sign Paul Pogba with the France World Cup winner having a huge decision to make over his future.

Pogba is in the final year of his contract at Manchester United and could walk away for nothing in the summer.

United paid Juventus £89million back in 2016 – smashing the British transfer record – to bring the midfielder back to the club after he left as a teenager.

He made his name in Turin, but it has been an up and downtime at Old Trafford, and may walk away again on a free transfer.

There have been glimpses of his brilliance, but he has not shown that regularly as he does for France.

Pogba has also fallen out with previous United managers, most notably Jose Mourinho, while his agent, Mino Raiola, has often stirred up the speculation.

The Red Devils want a final decision to be made over his future by Christmas to avoid the situation hanging over them for the rest of the season when it is hoped they will be fighting for trophies.

If he decides he does not want to open a new deal, speculation will turn to who could sign him.

Spanish publication as claims Pogba has returned to Madrid’s radar ‘with force’ and they have been sounding out the France World Cup winner for several weeks.

The reports also add that they hope Pogba can convince Kylian Mbappe to join him in Madrid.

The striker is also out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and while the Ligue 1 giants have insisted they categorically see the 22-year-old’s future in Paris, there is still no news over a contract extension.

And, with Karim Benzema already in the team, Real is hoping to add another Frenchman in Pogba to their squad could convince Mbappe to join them at the Bernabeu.
