Cyriel Dessers, a Nigerian attacker, hopes to have a productive time playing for AC Cremonese of Serie A.

On Wednesday, Dessers joined the Grigiorossi of KRC Genk of the Belgian Pro League.

The Serie A newcomers defeated FC Copenhagen of the Danish SuperLiga to land the striker.

The 27-year-old has also competed for Dutch clubs.

Dessers told the club's official website, "I have always dreamed of playing in Serie A, one of the finest leagues in the world.

I'm looking forward to the challenging but highly stimulating challenge that lies ahead.

"Let's dream together, Cremo."

Dessers played for two seasons for Genk and scored 11 goals in 43 games.
